I have for several years enjoyed the testimonies given by others, and they have afforded me so much comfort and encouragement that I feel it would be ungrateful to be silent any longer. I was led to investigate Christian Science by being healed of neuralgia, from which I had suffered much since childhood. The healing was instantaneous,—all swelling had left my eye in a few minutes, and I was perfectly well. I have never had an attack since. Seeing the teachings of Christian Science demonstrated in this way caused me to have faith in it,—the faith born of demonstration.
By reading Science and Health through twice, also some of our other literature, I gained an understanding of this wonderful truth that makes us free. I am only an infant in Christian Science, but my blessings have been innumerable. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy, whose love and devotion have led us out of darkness into light, and who is continually admonishing us to follow in the steps of our blessed Master. May I be able to give as I have received.
Miss Lou Ella Walk, Lampasas, Tex.
