It is over four years since I became interested in Christian Science, to which I was led by a desire to know God better and be at peace. Shortly after taking up the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of mumps. The pain seemed very real, for I had not then gained sufficient understanding to meet the case myself. My husband, who knew as little of this truth as I did, wanted to apply our old remedies, and he did, but with no benefit whatever. After suffering until two o'clock in the morning, I asked for help. My husband stated the case to a practitioner, who told him that all would be well, and that I should lie down and go to sleep. In fifteen minutes I was sound asleep, all pain gone, and I was healed! This demonstration proved to us beyond all question that God is a very present help in trouble. Since then, several other troubles have been wiped out; viz., stomach trouble, constipation, headaches, weak back, and many other ills.

Words are too feeble to express my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving us the Key to the Scriptures whereby we may unlock the treasure-house and learn of Life, Truth, and Love.
