Without outward ceremony, but with silent prayer, the corner-stone of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, was laid yesterday afternoon [August 31]. The location of the new church, which will be completed about November 1, is almost ideal, being situated in a delightful neighborhood, while it is easily accessible to all parts of the city.
