In this way of Science we soon learn there is no standing still, no going backward to our starting-point. Until the understanding of God dawned upon my consciousness in Christian Science, it seemed almost beyond hope that I should ever find the path which leads to heaven,—harmony. The need, however, became so great that it compelled effort, and effort means progress. No matter how great has been the demand, the supply has never failed.
For years error has kept me silent, but my heart is so full of gratitude that no longer can it be repressed. Thank God for our beloved Leader, whose brave, true life is always an inspiration; for the faithful friends who have lightened and encouraged me along the way, and for our literature which cannot but bless us. It is sowing Truth's seed in many hungry hearts.—E. H. S., New York, N. Y.
