It makes no difference to the Christian Scientist whether our physical ailments are traceable to functional or organic disease or to hysteria, the fact remains that the people are healed and they give the glory and praise to God. What difference does it make, even supposing that ninety per cent of the diseases to which men are subject are imaginary, it is an unsound condition of thought which produces disease, and if Christian Science can remove this illusive, deceptive, unsound condition of things and substitute in place thereof a sound and sane condition, is it not filling an acceptable and useful place in the world?
