I would like to make a grateful acknowledgment for a demonstration of Christian Science made in our home.

Two children were going to school in a near-by city (Niagara Falls), and upon the way were bitten by a mad dog. After the authorities took it in charge they decided it to be a very bad case. The little girl's father was a physician, and it was decided that he should take the children to New York for the Pasteur treatment, which he did, and returned in two weeks with the children desperately sick.

The boy died a horrible death, the circumstances of which are too tragical to relate. That very day the mother of the little girl received a letter from the physician in New York who administered the treatment, telling her it would be better for her to take her child to a Christian Scientist who might be able to do something to quiet the fear, and the thought that mind had much to do with it.
