I would like to offer thanks for the benefit Christian Science has brought to me. In the spring of 1901, when I turned to Christian Science for relief, I was a victim of neurasthenia, unable to sit up at all, given up by the doctors, despairing, and almost hopeless. I had been an invalid most of the time for seven years, unable to do anything except just live and suffer. I think I had hundreds of weak spells and tried various physicians and patent medicines. As a last resort, I sent for a Christian Science practitioner, and I can never cease to be grateful to the kind lady who came to my relief. I can now do my own housework and sewing, and read, and though the demonstration is not yet complete, my present state is heaven compared to the condition I was in.
