It is now four months since I first heard of Christian Science through a friend who is a member of that church. I attended the Wednesday evening meetings and heard many wonderful testimonies, but I declared to my friend that I could not believe in Christian Science unless it should heal my foot, which for two years had been inflamed with extreme pain, often making me quite lame. My friend gave me two treatments, and before the end of a week my foot was perfectly well. It has filled me with joy also to notice that without expecting such a result, through the daily study of Science and Health, I have been quite healed of troublesome ailments of years' standing, among which were continual dysentery and ulceration. I am very thankful to Christian Science, not only for the physical healing, but for the better understanding of the great love of God, which it brings.—Hannah Maude Edwardes, London, Eng.
