At the close of another year it seems appropriate to give thanks to God and also to our Leader for Christian Science, and what it has done for us. In thinking over my experience since becoming interested in this blessed truth, I can say that I was indeed hungering and thirsting for something, I knew not what.

The first time I heard Christian Science spoken of was on my return from the World's Fair, and it seemed to me as words spoken in an unkown tongue. I remember this, however, that it made such an impression on me, that I wished I might build a tabernacle and there abide.

My experience in reading Science and Health for the first time was a strange one. Quite frequently I would lay down the book thinking I did not care to take it up again, for it seemed only so much Greek to me.
