Love
Love! How often is this sweet, this sacred word misapplied! It would seem to have as many interpretations as there are individuals in the universe. But there must be some exact, some scientific definition, and as a Christian Scientist understands the term, it is explicitly defined in the text, "God is love," and he recognizes nothing less pure as either real or permanent.
The Christian Scientist knowing that God is all, is necessarily certain that Love must be all; hence his chief aim is to learn how best to express this Love in his life, and how to annihilate every unlike quality that seems to exist there. He knows that when he expresses this divine Love perfectly he has nothing left to desire, for "Love is the fulfilling of the law."
What shall be the quality of our love, and how can we best express the reflection of the Love that is God ?
