I was a poor, suffering, helpless mortal with headache and stomach trouble and sciatica and inward tumor, when friends begged me to try Christian Science. They were not Scientists at the time, but since I had tried everything else I was given over to despair. My last resort was Truth, and in two weeks I was able to attend my first Science meeting. Thank God for the dear teacher and healer who came to me with a face beaming with love, and told me that God could and would heal me. Thank our God, I soon got rest and happiness after long years of suffering.
The spiritual uplifting to me was more than the healing of physical troubles, for I had always tried to live to please my God and was making a god out of medicine and many other things. For over three years God has been our only healer. God bless the dear Mother for bringing this light to this age. — Mary E. Reeves, Kingston, Ont.
