"Be Ye Faithful."

Recognition of the central fact of the universe; namely, God, that He is all and that He is Mind, carries with it the further recognition that all action is the activity of Mind, and that nothing can be really accomplished except as Mind is reflected.

We have found, in human affairs, that the outcome of our larger enterprises is predicated upon the quality of thought put into them, and if the thought be right, the outcome is right. In the same way we must know that daily living, if successful and harmonious, must be the result of daily prayer, daily communion with God. Such prayer is not that our will be done, but that we may know the will of the Father which is already done, and that we may reflect His wisdom and omnipotence in all our undertakings. We are at times inclined to forget that man's God-given dominion extends to the smallest, and seemingly least important, items that make up the daily life of the individual, and to believe that familiar and habitual actions can be performed properly and beneficially without the exercise of the same omnipotent guidance required in larger, more important, and unusual affairs; but in this we are mistaken.

The human inclination to accept certain conditions and occurrences as inevitable, and their results as something to be borne with equanimity and without protest, is not in accord with the ideal, and is not conducive to growth. The mental protest must be immediate, emphatic, and conclusive.
