I send the following beautiful demonstrations of the power of Truth to heal, hoping they may encourage some who are striving for the light. A person who had suffered from asthma for over fourteen years, and was unable, through a complication of diseases, to attend to her household duties, was completely healed in three weeks' treatment, and able to do her household work, and use a sewing machine with perfect ease.
A young man living some distance from the city had an acute attack of an internal trouble, and asked a friend to telephone to a practitioner for help. It took about twenty minutes to reach the nearest telephone. Before the friend returned from sending the message, the young man sat up, and said to his mother, "I feel like a new man. He was healed with the one treatment.
There was an amusing incident in connection with the healing of a case in this city, some time since. A gentleman who had been confined to bed for many weeks with sciatica, and whom the doctors failed to help, was advised by a friend to try the then new treatment of Christian Science. In compliance with his request a practitioner drove over the next morning. He was shown into the bedroom, and the patient's wife rather doubtfully withdrew. After giving the treatment, the practitioner left, saying he would come again the next day.
