Hoping to help some weary one searching for light, I am...
Hoping to help some weary one searching for light, I am led to give a leaf from my own experience, showing the steps out of a blind faith in God, to the dawn of that Light which is still leading me up to an understanding of the true God.
From my earliest recollection, I had been reaching out for God; seeking Him through the Scripture, reading the promises daily until many parts of the Word became familiar. I clung to whatever gave me a ray of light and hope. In early girlhood health began to fail, and so-called inherited troubles to appear. I sought earnestly the church and early became a member, where for more than twentyfive years, I found some degree of comfort, and I gratefully recognize the good that came to lighten in some measure the weary way.
I parted from this dear church only in obedience to a greater light which in later years dawned on my path, the light of Christian Science.
