Words of Life
"MAGNIFY the Lord,"—These are wonderful words.
The man of Christian Science can magnify the Lord of Christian Science.
In the old concept of a far-away, infinite God and an isolated, finite man, the impossibility of the command made it well-nigh grotesque. But with God as Principle and man as the reflection of Principle, the words are fraught with life-giving, life-sustaining power. When we see that God is Mind, omnipotent and omniscient, and when we learn that the measure of a man is the unfoldment of God in consciousness, we see that to "magnify the Lord" is the only possibility of growth.
