A Word of Thanks

I wish to express my gratitude to our dear Leader, for her wonderful message. It will help the whole world, and meet the great need of the hour. About five years ago, I read a little letter written by Mrs. Eddy, which was on the front page of an old Journal I had borrowed. I shall never forget how the reading of that letter changed my thought, and uplifted me. As I grow in the understanding of Christian Science, I feel sure that I was then healed of a great sorrow that had settled on me when I was a child, although I seem to have gone through severe battles with it since, I know it was only the shadow of this sorrow that had bound me for over thirty years. I have never felt just as I did before I read that letter, and I feel that it was the voice of God calling to me. It was with no thought of being healed physically that I turned to Christian Science; what I wanted was a religion that would make me happy, but I have found that as I got the spiritual understanding of this great Truth, my ailments, which were many and severe, were healed. Words cannot express my gratitude to God, to our Leader, and to my faithful teacher. I am grateful to all who in any way have helped me to see this great Truth. I must also express my thanks for the Journal and Sentinel, which I look for as eagerly as I do for a letter from a dear friend.
