Long have I wished to render my thanks, not only for the kind, helpful thoughts of the Journal and Sentinel, but for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." For this understanding of God and the Bible I cannot find words to express my gratitude.

For forty-three years, I was troubled with headache and a scrofulous discharge from both ears all the time. When twelve years old I could only hear words spoken in the loudest tone of voice, and I was doctoring all the time. Materia medica could heal only the right ear. I was entirely deaf in the left ear and it still discharged continually. Shortly after coming into Science I was taken with severe pain in both ears and my head. After three days absent treatment all pain ceased. Six years have elapsed since the treatment, and my ear has remained perfectly healed. The secretions of the ear are natural, and I can hear loud noises quite distinctly.

Although healing comes slowly, I am gaining in spiritual understanding and am able to make better demonstrations. I am encouraged to persevere, knowing that God healeth all our diseases and we can trust Him in all things.
