A Word to our Co-workers

On page 583 of this issue of the Sentinel will be found matter of interest and importance to all our readers. The familiar headings "Literature for Distribution" and "Rules to be Observed" have appeared in our columns for several months, but our readers should not conclude that it is necessary for them to read this part of the Sentinel. Important additions and changes are constantly being made which it is very desirable that all our readers should know. We are frequently called upon to answer letters of inquiry concerning matters which are clearly set forth in these columns. A little forethought on the part of the writer would have saved him the trouble of writing his letter and the delay in waiting for a reply.

On the page next preceding the editorial page there appear each week under the head of "Notices," special announcements which are of interest and importance, and should not escape the attention of the reader. Because the page presents a familiar appearance to the eye the reader should not conclude that there is nothing new to be found thereon. The principal reason for locating the notices in the same place in each number of the Sentinel is that they may be the more readily found and read.

Perhaps it may not be amiss to say a word in this connection concerning the "Literature for Distribution." The supplements to the Sentinel are lectures on Christian Science which have been carefully prepared by different members of the Board of Lectureship of the Mother Church. One of these supplements is printed in German. The supplements can easily be sent to those who might not have an opportunity to hear a public lecture on Christian Science, and they are read with interest and profit by those who have heard the lectures delivered.
