Gladness

If living is a joy to you,Because your soul is sound,And life seems good and sweet and trueThat you have haply found,Then sing no false and hopeless strainOf doubting and despair,But lift your voice all clear and plainAnd sing that life is fair!

The author of the Christian Science text-book takes no patients, does not consult on disease, nor read letters referring to these subjects.

Praise

Several times during the past four months I have felt that I ought to write of the many benefits I have received through Christian Science.
A few years ago my husband had had a severe case of diphtheria, followed by what the doctors called diphtherial paralysis, making him helpless even to dress himself.

Long have I wished to render my thanks, not only for the kind, helpful thoughts of the Journal and Sentinel, but for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
