Letter to a Teacher

Idaho Springs, Col., October 30, 1901.

My Dear Teacher:— Regarding the beautiful demonstration of the power of God through Christian Science at Argentine Pass on October 18, last, the facts are as follows:

I own and am operating some mines and a large tunnel at Argentine, Col., eight and a half miles above Georgetown. On the day mentioned I had arranged with my men to come up and see how the work was progressing. I also arranged for Colonel Evans, a very prominent mining engineer, to go with me, and a young Mr. Randall, son of the editor of the Georgetown Courier.
