I wish to express my gratitude for the spiritual and...
I wish to express my gratitude for the spiritual and physical help I have received from the study and treatment of Christian Science. A little over a year ago my eyes were healed of compound astigmatism after I had worn glasses for about five years. I took my glasses off under what were the most trying circumstances, as I was at that time doing work considered very hard on the eyes. However, I was able to continue my work without suffering the least inconvenience or pain, and my eyes were healed perfectly in three treatments. I have also since been healed of catarrh of long standing, chronic throat trouble, weak lungs, inflammation of the stomach, and many other seemingly serious troubles.
The study of the Bible with the light of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," gives us the most beautiful as well as the most practical religion I have ever known, and I thank Mrs. Eddy, not only for the physical, but for the spiritual healing I have received through one of her loyal students. Our happiest hours are spent in the study of this wonderful Truth. The Journal and Sentinel are welcome guests and are most helpful.
Mrs. Alice M. Whyte, Ashland, Ore.
