The Christian Science Quarterly

A letter just came to me containing this testimony to the helpful influence of the Quarterly by one who is studying by herself, as so many are, and who seemingly are isolated from church service. "A just acknowledgment of Truth, and what it has done for us, is an effectual help" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker G. Eddy, p. 371). Acknowledgment in this direction is of the seed, which when it is grown is the greatest of all and a nucleus of the many gatherings of Scientists in the smaller cities and towns all over the world.

My friend writes, "I wonder if you realize how much help the Quarterly is in the study of Christian Science? Even if the references are familiar, when read in the connection they are given, they bring the meaning of the subject much more forcibly to one. It seems as though you ought to advise any one who is interested enough to read Christian Science literature, to get the Quarterly."
