What Christian Science Teaches

To the Editor of the Evening Express:—

In your issue of Monday, March 12, you publish extracts from a paper read by Rev. Thomas Stalker, before the Methodist Ministers' Association, in which he attacks Christian Science. I beg leave and space to reply.

Did we not have a genuine sense of gratitude to Mr. Stalker for bringing Christian Science to the attention of the people, and thus giving us an opportunity to correct some of the popular misconceptions which he sets forth, we might be as severe as he, in the denunciation of "baseless assumptions, dogmatic assertions, and groundless opinions."
