A Child's Rendering
There was a most beautiful rendering or reading of the text on the first page of the Sentinel, by a boy about eight years of age living with a family of Christian Scientists near here: "What I say unto you, I say unto all, Watch."—Jesus.
He came to the lady, and asked, what does this mean? reading the text in this manner. "What I say unto you, I say unto all, watch Jesus." The lady immediately catching the thought, said, "It means just that, Watch Jesus."
Truly "a little child shall lead them." O that we could all watch Jesus more closely; and make our lives conform more to his standard, the standard of Love and perfection!
