Christian Science
Boston Post
To the Editor of the Post.
Sir:—In your issue of the 8th inst., I find a criticism on Christian Science, in which occurs the statement: "We could tolerate Christian Science practice, if it were harmless, but not only are the helpless members of their families endangered, but their practice is a menace to public health."
No doubt our critic is sincere in this belief, and he has my full sympathy in his position. The ardent desire of the Christian Scientist to rely upon God, rather than matter, is equally sincere.
