Astigmatism Healed

It will soon be five years since I first experienced the wonderful healing power of Spirit, manifested through Christian Science. At that time I was wearing glasses on account of a pronounced condition of astigmatism. I had worn glasses constantly for a dozen years, and was not able to use my eyes without the glasses for even five minutes without experiencing headache, sometimes followed by sickness at the stomach.

Prominent oculists had prescribed the glasses, agreeing that my eyes were astigmatic and far-sighted, and that one eye differed from the other in the degree of defects. With the aid of the glasses I got along quite satisfactorily and I fully expected to require them during the period of my natural life. This expectation was confirmed by the oculists.

I sought Christian Science treatment to obtain relief from an annoying trouble of a different nature from which I had suffered for two or three years. Skilled medical attention had failed to bring permanent relief. The first treatment by the Scientist produced complete relief, and since that time I have used no medicines.
