Appendicitis Healed
About nine years ago I had a very severe disease which my physician pronounced appendicitis. At that time it was not so common as it is now. I was confined to my bed for weeks, had to be kept under the influence of opiates almost all the time, and had my side blistered, poulticed, etc.
I finally recovered sufficiently to be out of my bed a part of the time. When I asked my physician when I would be well, he said I could not be cured without an operation and I would never be strong enough to stand it.
I wrote a sister and told her I wanted her to have the care of my little daughter, then six years of age, as I only had a short time to live. I had my will made and was trying to be ready for death. She in reply wrote me to try Christian Science. As I had tried everything else and failed, I did so, and was cured in a month's treatment. How thankful I am for this blessed Truth and what it has done for me.—Mrs. Dora H. Simms, Denver, Col.
