A Case of Croup

On Christmas day we were invited out, not returning until late that night. At half past two my husband awoke me and asked me if I heard our little girl. I listened; then she began to cough and cry; the trouble was croup. I got up and took her into my bed. I began treating her. In a short time she stopped coughing, the wheezing also stopped, and she slept till ten o'clock. That was the end of the croup. My heart is full of love for this blessed Truth; it has done so much for us. It brings such peace and joy as one can only find by reading the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." May the great work go on.

Mrs. Kittie Johnson, Jamaica Plain, Mass.

Those who, in confidence of superior capacities or attainments, disregard the common maxims of life, should remember that nothing can atone for the want of prudence; that negligence and irregularity long continued will make knowledge useless, wit ridiculous, and genius contemptible.

Johnson.
