A Warning

Word comes to us from Michigan that a man claiming to be a Christian Scientist is traveling about the country and, upon the strength of plausible stories, getting money from Christian Scientists. He is said to be about twenty-five years old, short of stature, has a foreign accent, and is apparently well educated. He refers to Dr. Fluno as his teacher, while the Doctor writes our informant that he never had any student of his name or description.

One of his stories is that he is a Jew, and was driven to the necessity of securing aid on account of persecution by his family and friends.

We at present withhold his name—real or assumed—with the hope that there will be no further occasion to refer to him.
