Exterminating disease

But instead of treating my incipient symptoms on a physical level, I took a cue from what I’d been reading in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures—I turned to prayer to regain a spiritual view of my life. It was clear that I was believing, along with my friends, that this strain of flu was powerful and that it was inevitable that I would be incapacitated. But the book’s author, Mary Baker Eddy, gave me a very different perspective.
