When the boy David ran,at God's command,To meet him who hadterrorized the land,He did not quail,Fearing to face the giantlest he fail.

HE CAME WHERE HE WAS

Jerusalem to JerichoA certain man went down,Where, beaten, robbed, and left to die,He drew the Levite's frown,For he was but a lowly man,A man of no renown.

ANNIVERSARY

I prayed one day:Courage—God, give me courage!A voice came clear:Get understanding, child,And you will have courage.
