CONSECRATION
We
have promised that each day
We would watch, and work, and pray,
That the Mind which Jesus knew
Be reflected in us too.
We have promised we would be
Constant in our loyalty,
Faithful stewards of our trust,
Merciful, and pure, and just;
By enriched affections prove
To men's hearts the power of Love.
Father, guard us lest we sleep
With such promises to keep.
