GOOD INDIVISIBLE

One came to him and said,"Lord, speak to my brother;Tell him to divide the inheritance with me.

JOY

Say not, If only things were different,I could rejoice: if only ICould evidence more confident supply,A happier home, or more established health,Better relationships—could I but see the wealthOf Love's provision manifest for me.

The Father knows before you askYour need, beloved one.

TRUTH'S OWN REASONING

When fear would gain the precincts of my heart,I reason thus: "Is this of God's intent?

AWAKENING

The eyes of Hagar, filled with tears,Could not perceive God's care,Though it was instant for her need,And always had been there.

TURN FROM SORROW

Turn swiftly from your clinging, earthborn grief;Life never wore a cloak-of-clay disguise.

SELF-KNOWLEDGE

An angel came to Peter while he slept,And his imprisoned thought awoke to light.
