Stop sign
When you don’t know why you’re so upset—
none of your needs seem to be met.
You wonder why things are so wrong—
negative thoughts keep playing like a sad song.
When your life seems to be headed
for an unsafe landing,
STOP . . . right then.
Don’t lean on your own understanding.*
Rely on God completely and fully,
because sometimes your own thoughts
can be your biggest bully.
Be strong in faith and hope.
God is going to pull you out, don’t let go
of the rope!
Your blessings will be vast and broad,
when you let go of your plans and trust in God.
— Shirin Felfeli
