Skype Sunday School

In the fall of 2009, I headed off to Pennsylvania for my freshman year of college. I had grown up attending Sunday School at my branch church in Connecticut for the past eight years, and I was very close with my Sunday school teacher and the other students in the class. However, in the weeks leading up to the new school year in a totally foreign environment, I realized that there was no Christian Science church in the vicinity of my university and no Christian Science Organization (CSO) on campus.

As an eighteen-year-old starting the next chapter of my life, I realized how important these weekly spiritual discussions with my Sunday school teacher were to my spiritual growth. My family and our church’s entire congregation in Connecticut realized that it was time to pray to know that the answer would present itself to us in a timely fashion.
