My trusty pen
If God is the only creator and if dishonesty exists in the world, then God must have made it. Certainly as we read the daily headlines, honesty appears to be limited and dishonesty seems to be all too common.
But does that really mean that God is the source of dishonesty? Of course not. Dishonesty results from a human sense of lack. But the Bible tells us that God created man in His image (see Genesis 1:26). As the image of God who is infinite Spirit, in reality we are spiritual, complete, and lacking nothing. Where there is no lack, there is no source for dishonesty.
