In this series, individuals share how taking Christian Science Primary class instruction has strengthened their spiritual understanding, and brought increasing inspiration and healing to their lives.
She let out a hearty laugh
When I decided to take class instruction, I began praying about whom my teacher should be. As I read articles in the Sentinel and in The Christian Science Journal, I would ask God if I should take instruction from the writer.
After several months of praying about this, I found myself saying to one of the practitioners at our church, “If you ever decide to become a teacher, I would love to be one of your students.” I guess I really surprised her because she just let out a hearty laugh!
Well, I kept praying and in December, about seven months later, I noticed that this lady had not been in church for a couple of Sundays. As I was driving home from church it hit me. The Normal class for new Christian Science teachers is held in December every three years, and I just knew she was in Boston having Normal class to become a teacher!
