Severe burns healed quickly
My parents were devoted students of Christian Science, and I was blessed to be brought up in a home where the teachings of this religion were practiced. My parents’ wholehearted reliance on God for healing was evident in our daily lives.
My brother, sister, and I experienced quick healings of childhood diseases such as measles, mumps, and chicken pox through prayer alone, completely free of any use of medication or lotions.
My earliest memory of healing was when I was about seven years old. We had a barbecue pit in the ground, and one day after we had a cookout, my brother, sister, and I decided to do an “Indian dance” around the fire. I tripped and fell onto the hot grill and sustained burns on my chest and arm.
