Moving in harmony
Sometimes I feel as though human experience is God’s great jigsaw puzzle. We want to see the whole thing and know right where the pieces are going to go. But what we need to do is trust that God is always placing us right where we need to be for His glory.
Two years ago, while praying about a need in our family, a clear angel message came to me to home school our four children. I was totally confused. I hadn’t been asking about that! I wanted to know what to do about the situation I had sat down to pray about, not something totally new.
I let the home-schooling thought go, wondering if it was really from God or just a distraction. Every day that week I continued spending time praying about my original concern, but each time the message came to home school. Not understanding at all why this could be right or make sense, I moved forward with plans to teach our children at home. My husband thought I had lost my mind! But he is also a faithful Christian Scientist and supported my desire to follow God’s command.
