Letters
I just have to write and tell you how very helpful two of the many wonderful articles you publish have been.
“Always employed by God,” by Don Feldheim, in the November 29, 2010 [“Harmony in marriage”] issue is a piece I’ve read and reread, always to great effect. I even appreciate the idea that “there’s no vacation, sick leave, or personal days off from God’s employment.” That confirms my experience in working for Church.
The second article, which has helped me ever since its publication date but seems especially pertinent since the shootings in Arizona on January 8, is “Don’t resort to blame,” from the Editors in the December 13, 2010, issue [“A spiritual response to terrorism”]. They wrote, “Our prayers for Truth’s government to be exhibited will help lift thought above finger-pointing, so that just solutions can be found, and in the meantime we won’t get mesmerized by fighting over whose fault it is.”
