Caught up in Love
Prayers before Valentine’s Day
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, the day of love and romance, chocolate, flowers, and cards. I’m not sure how I’ll spend the day this year.
A few years ago, my husband passed on and I’ve missed his companionship. I’ve wondered when and how companionship might appear again in my life.
I’ve tried the online dating bit and had some interesting dates that would make the basis for a humorous story or two. I also went out with friends from my high school and college days. In the meantime, between my supportive family and friends, my professional work, and church, I’ve kept quite busy. Still, more often than I like to admit, I’ve felt alone.
