'I WILL LIVE'

What would you do if you suddenly became so extremely ill that you truly feared you were dying at that very moment? This happened to me once, long ago. And in that very dark moment I realized that I could make a choice, and I did. Many decades later, I am still alive. What did I choose? Why did I make the choice? Here's my story.

It really begins with my mother's influence on my early life and the foundation of healing that began to underpin my experiences and my conviction in God's care and power.

Frequently, Mother and I would chat while we were doing chores together. I'd tell her the news of happenings at school and maybe which boy I hoped would ask me out for a date. I often urged her to tell me of her girlhood in Michigan. I learned that she loved to ride horses, and loved to play the violin.
