5 lessons from the dance floor
Don't try to take the lead. That's one of the first lessons I've had to learn in partner dancing.
Actually, God is leading our lives all the time, every moment. But how can we be sure to follow? Here are some spiritual lessons I've learned from my time on the dance floor.
On the dance floor, following your partner's lead may seem easier said than done. "How do I not lead?" I asked my partner when he insisted that I let him do his job. The more important question was: How do I follow? I learned that consciously choosing to follow was the first step; it doesn't have to be my way.
