God is good

I was watching TV when I started to feel really bad. My head hurt, so I lay down on the couch. My mother noticed I wasn't well, because I don't usually lie down on the couch. She put her hand on my forehead and saw that I was very hot.

My mother called a Christian Science practitioner and told her what was happening to me. We asked her to help pray for me. The practitioner talked very lovingly to me and told me that everything was well because God is good. And He takes care of all of us with a lot of love. She asked my mother to read and explain to me Psalm 23, which starts like this: "The Lord is my shepherd." That's what my mom did.

After we talked about Psalm 23, I fell asleep. I woke up two hours later—without a fever and without a headache. I got up feeling very happy. And I thanked the Lord with all my heart!
