Forgiveness

One day. after a club meeting. some friends and I stayed behind to help clean up. One of my friends, a boy, and his brothers were fooling around with me.

The boy and I were walking across the room, and I gave him a small shove, meant to be playful. Unfortunately, he sped up, just as my palm hit his shoulder, and he fell, hard, on his side on a chair His mom was watching us and looked upset. I apologized to my friend several times. And each time, he told me that it was OK and that he was all right.

Even though my friend was not hurt, when we got home. I still felt bad. And I was wondering if he and his mom and dad would be mad at me. I did not want to be labeled as a bully.
