ANYONE CAN BE A HEALER

JOY, A DAY AT A TIME

I VIVIDLY REMEMBER standing in that old and dusty phone booth, talking with a teacher of Christian Science. I'd just graduated from college and had applied to him to take Primary class instruction with him, a 12-lesson course in Christian Science healing. Our ranch, in remote northern California, had no telephone, so I was calling from this cobwebby booth at the Fish Hook cafe.

The teacher asked me several questions, and then added, "Have you thought of going into the full-time practice as a Christian Science healer?'

Well, I did want to be in the full-time healing work. At some point. Somewhere down the road. Maybe after I had retired, or after I was done ranching or had more confidence as a healer.
