HEALED THROUGH LISTENING AND TRUSTING
One night I was in a lot of pain. I had very bad stomach cramps and a headache, and I felt as if I was going to faint. I prayed to God for help. At the time, I was staying at my mother's house for the weekend. I told her that I was in pain, and she prayed for me as well.
I was raised in Christian Science, and I've had Christian Science class instruction. I've learned to trust God in all His work, which is always good. And I've had many healings through prayer.
That night I listened to a CD for children from the Christian Science Reading Room, called Three Steps and a Bounce. I like all of the songs on this CD. They helped me feel that God was with me and that God loved me. I was quiet and peaceful. I knew that I reflected God's perfection.
