Trust the angels

Do you know what angels are? We see them all around, in pictures on pretty ornaments, and as statues. Angels with wings, lovely faces, and halos. These are pretty to look at, but they aren't the kind of angels I'm talking about. The angels I'm learning about are more special than these. They're spiritual angels. They are like beautiful thoughts. And they're with you wherever you are.

You've probably heard angel messages. Whenever you hear thoughts telling you to do good things, those are God's angels. Or you may suddenly get a special idea that can make someone else happy. At the same time, this idea makes you happy, too. These are loving angels. Angels come in different ways to each of us. But they always comfort, guide, and protect us.

Angels are God's way of letting us know He is there for us. For instance, one time I was backstage getting ready for my dance recital. I was to read a poem (by myself) and then dance a solo. I love to dance. But I started getting really nervous about reading the poem in front of so many people. Just then, my big brother suddenly appeared. He was assisting as a stagehand and offered to help me by reading the poem for me. He read it so beautifully. And he hadn't even practiced! After that, I danced my heart out with a big smile. Everyone thought it worked out especially well with the last-minute change. It must have been an angel message that told my brother to step in and help me.
