Soon I was healed

One night, I had a very bad cough. I told my uncle that we needed to pray about it. He asked me what we were studying that week in Sunday School, and I said, "The Lord's Prayer." He said I could use what I was learning to heal the cough.

When I started praying "Our Father," I understood that God is the Father of everybody and that He is good. And I knew that God never gave me anything that wasn't good. God does not know coughs, and so it was not right for me to have what our Father-Mother God does not have and does not know.

In Sunday School I've learned that God is ever present and all-powerful. So as I prayed, I knew that God was present with me and His presence did not include any cough. And since God is all power, I knew that His presence had power over me.
