Healed on holiday

When I was away in Exmouth, which is on the coast in Western Australia, I had a wonderful healing. We had driven a long way and everyone was very tired, especially my dad who was the driver. That night I didn't feel very well and I was very dizzy. So I decided to pray.

I thought about how powerful God was, and that I was His image. So how could I be ill, or hurt, or even worried, since God wasn't any of those things? My mum told me I didn't have to be scared or panic because God was keeping me safe. Although during that night I threw up and didn't feel well, that wasn't what I was focusing on. I was thinking good thoughts about God and myself.

The next morning I felt a bit better and had breakfast. But after that, I didn't feel well, so I decided to pray again. I sang my favorite hymns. They are "'Feed My Sheep'" and "Mother's Evening Prayer." Both were written by Mary Baker Eddy. I sang them for a while. Then I prayed the Lord's Prayer. I also read a book on Jesus' healings and thought about how Jesus had healed. I was healed, too, and I thanked God for all His love that shone on me and healed me.
